Sports Rules

Scope and Agreement

The Sports Betting Rules (the Rules) govern all bets placed with Medinabet on sports events and related markets offered by the Medinabet Sportsbook. By placing a bet you acknowledge and agree to these Rules, the General Terms, and any Sport-Specific Rules published for the applicable event. Medinabet reserves the right to amend the Rules at any time, with such amendments effective upon posting. It is the bettor's responsibility to review the Rules before placing wagers.

Eligibility and Age

Bets may be placed only by individuals aged 18 years or older. The bettor may be required to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) checks in accordance with legal and internal policy regimes. Medinabet may suspend or cancel bets or accounts as part of compliance obligations.

Bet Acceptance, Balance and Settlement

A bet is deemed accepted when it is registered on Medinabet’s servers and an online confirmation is issued. Bets are accepted only if the bettor’s available balance covers the stake. Funds debited at acceptance are non‑refundable except as provided in these Rules. Bets placed after the event’s official start time are invalid, except for Live bets, which remain valid until the event concludes and are settled in accordance with these Rules.

Winnings are credited to the bettor’s Medinabet account after settlement. If a bet is subject to cancellation or revision, settlement occurs in accordance with the Rules and any applicable regulatory requirements. Bets are settled using the official results, subject to the verification procedures described herein.

Bet Types

  • Single – a bet on a single outcome of an event. Winnings equal the stake multiplied by the applicable odds for that outcome.
  • Express – a bet on two or more independent outcomes within the same event or across events. Winnings equal the product of the stake and the odds of all included outcomes. A loss on any one outcome results in a loss of the entire Express.
  • System – a bet on a pre‑selected combination of a specified number of events. The maximum number of selections in a System is defined by Medinabet per sport. Winnings are the sum of winnings from the included Express bets that form part of the System.

Live (In-Play) Betting

Live bets are accepted on main and supplementary outcomes during an event. A single live bet or a combination of live bets may be placed. A bet is considered accepted once registered and confirmed on the server. Live bets are generally not edited or deleted, and the acceptance odds are fixed at the time of acceptance. Medinabet may apply a price delay or suspend live betting in accordance with this policy. In the event of discrepancies between live data and official results, Medinabet’s determination, based on its data sources, governs settlement.

Odds, Prices and Corrections

Medinabet reserves the right to correct obvious errors in odds or event data. If an error is detected, the bet may be adjusted or voided as appropriate. Acceptance time governs settlement when disputes arise about when a bet was placed. In cases of incorrect results or data entry errors, Medinabet may re‑calculate or adjust settlements. If a bettor places a bet knowing an outcome to a known result, the bet may be canceled in Medinabet’s sole discretion.

Market Changes, Postponements and Cancellations

All bets are subject to postponement, cancellation, or abandonment rules as follows: If an event is postponed beyond 48 hours from the original scheduled start time, Medinabet may void all bets unless otherwise stated for the market. If an event is abandoned before completion and is not continued within 36 hours, bets on markets already decided remain valid, while others may be void. If an event is officially declared completed or a result is declared by the governing body, Medinabet will settle accordingly. Medinabet may void bets where the home/away designation or the involved teams are changed in a manner that affects the validity of the bet. In non‑team events, venue changes may not automatically void bets unless otherwise specified in the sport rules.

Venue, Substitutions and Event Changes

In team events and matches, substitutions or lineup changes that occur during the competition may affect bets placed prior to the event. If an event changes venue or if the host/guest designation changes, Medinabet reserves the right to settle or void bets as appropriate under the sport’s Rules. Where a market relies on a specific lineup or participants, significant changes may render bets void at Medinabet’s discretion.

Results, Verification and Settlement

Settlement is generally performed shortly after an event concludes. If official results conflict with broadcast data, Medinabet may determine the result using the governing body’s official result or video evidence where available. If no official result is available, Medinabet will determine the result based on credible available evidence. Medinabet reserves the right to suspend settlement while data is verified. Bets accepted after an event has finished are void, unless explicitly covered by Live betting provisions.

Dead Heat and Special Rules

In the event of a Dead Heat (two or more winners), stake distribution follows applicable dead heat rules for the market. If two winners are declared, the stake is divided accordingly; with three or more winners, some markets may settle with a coefficient of 1.0 for the affected leg. Outright markets have their own Dead Heat rules as published in the market description.

Aggressive Data and Official Sources

Medinabet relies on official competition data, official federation communications, and, when necessary, independent sources or broadcast data for settlement. If conflicting data exists among sources, Medinabet will determine settlement based on the most credible source, including video evidence where available. If data delays or discrepancies occur, Medinabet reserves the right to suspend or revise settlements as required.

Maximum and Minimum Stakes and Winnings

Stakes and potential winnings vary by sport and market and are published for each event. The maximum win per bet is 5,000,000 rubles (or its currency equivalent). Where markets impose different limits within an accumulator, the minimum limit among those markets applies to determine the overall cap. Medinabet reserves the right to impose additional limits on a per‑bettor basis, with notice given where feasible.

Outrights and Market Rules

Outright bets concern the eventual winner of an event, race or tournament. If a participant does not start, Outright bets on that participant are void. In cases of multiple winners or a declared Dead Heat, stakes are divided among winners and settled at the published odds. If an event is affected by any circumstance that prevents a clear outcome, Medinabet will apply the market rules as described in the market documentation and the Rules set for the sport.

Disputes and Customer Support

All disputes or queries should be submitted to Medinabet Support within the period specified in the dispute provisions. The Head of Sportsbook has final decision authority on disputes unresolved by customer services. Medinabet will provide reasons for settlements upon request where practicable.

Compliance, Data Integrity and Responsible Gaming

Medinabet complies with applicable gaming laws, data protection requirements, and regulatory obligations. Bets placed by individuals under 18 or in violation of applicable policies will be void and may lead to account suspension or closure. Customer data used for verification and settlement will be handled in accordance with internal privacy policies and relevant law. Medinabet commits to promoting responsible gaming and providing tools to manage betting activity.
